Lift Sepura’s blue lid, remove your expired filter, and replace with our custom-fitted carbon filter before placing the lid back. You can recycle your expired filter.
Replace every two to three months
We recommend replacing these filters every two to three months, or whenever you start to smell your food scraps under your sink. Replacement cadence depends on several things such as type of items you are putting in your Sepura.

The carbon filter is made from polyester/nylon which is recyclable. To discard your expired carbon filter, check to see if your local recycling center accepts polyester and nylon.
